In case the automatic setup fails, here is the manual setup for the Thunderbird email client:

  • Open Thunderbird.
  • Click the Tools menu, and select Account Settings…
  • On Account settings, click Add Mail Account.
  • Fill in details, it Continue.
  • Choose Manual Config at bottom.
  • Verify your User Information, and enter the following additional information:
    Server Information
    Incoming: POP / IMAP – choose the one that suits your needs.
    Server hostname:
    port: 995 / 993
    Authentication: normal password
    Outgoing: SMTP
    Server hostname:
    port: 587
    Authentication: normal password
    Username: FULL email address!
  • Click Done.
