In case the automatic setup fails, here is the manual setup for the Outlook 2013 email client:
Open Outlook – File – Add Account – enter your email address
If the autodetection fails you will have to choose POP or IMAP.
IMAP is the more modern one (share all emails across multiple devices), whereas POP should be used only on very slow Internet connections.
Incoming server and outgoing server are both the domain name for which you set up the email account.
For security:
incoming needs an encrypted connection:
SSL over port 993 for IMAP
SSL over port 995 for POP
outgoing needs an encrypted connection as well:
STARTTLS (or Auto) over port 587
Enter your passsword
Done 🙂
